A Space to Welcome

Streamlined digital processes and better-informed asylum seekers contribute to a more human yet efficient experience
Welcoming and informing asylum seekers directly at the entry supports a smoother application process, reduced anxiety, and a more prepared integration. Data can be collected and help authorities to anticipate and pre-process applications resulting in more efficiency and clear overviews.
1 | Welcome
An agent welcomes the asylum seekers in the information center and registers them in the system. They will also receive a medical check-up before moving on to the next steps.

2 | Orientate
A map of the region gathers the different actors and places relevant for an asylum seeker. To find your way through the multitude of actors requires first of all a spatial representation of the path to follow.

3 | Familiarize
To integrate better, it is necessary to understand the host culture. To do this, a short translated video provides the keys to understanding the civic values, rights and duties of an asylum seeker in Europe.

4 | Initiate the administrative procedure
To overcome the apprehension of the administrative process, it is necessary to take a first step. Here, the ID photo represents the first document of this complex procedure and gives confidence in a transition where uncertainty prevails.

5 | Accompany
An individual interview with an agent of the French Office for Immigration and Integration allows the accompaniment to be adapted to the different profiles of the newcomers. At the end of this short interview, an algorithm generates an “administrative and social itinerary” that summarizes the next steps in terms of administration, hosting and integration.
A Platform to Connect

Guide and inform asylum applicants in the palm of their hands
An app to help applicants to keep track on their next steps, manage their application, exchange secure messages with authorities and plan their integration will ensure a more reliable application process and long term impact.
A Binder to Collect

All documents in one place
We understand that navigating a new country can be overwhelming, especially when trying to keep track of various documents and paperwork. That's why at the first step of the InEurope process, asylum seekers are provided with a helpful tool - a binder.
This binder is designed to assist asylum seekers in keeping all their administrative documentation organized, providing an overview of the process to come, and helping them track their progress with a handy cut-out that indicates which step they're in.
Access to essentials and more focus on integration
In addition to its organizational function, the binder also comes with a card that allows for access to phone service, public transportation, and meals for a limited time. This ensures that asylum seekers have the necessary resources to navigate their new surroundings and focus on their integration process.
